THE SUSTAINABLE TREE

Each year, World Tree offers the public the opportunity to invest in timber through their Eco-tree Program. The farmers provide the land and labor to grow the trees and World Tree provides the trees, the harvest, and sale of lumber allowing investors and farmers receive a share in the profits.

World Tree lacked media to bring its story to life to support its crowdfunding campaigns, social media, and website. Inspired by their work, we traveled (with two weeks' notice!) to Atlanta and Georgia to create and produce two films, used to help secure investors and farmers into their programs.

We also conceptualized a live event to support the launch of their programs, which was postponed. We included the conceptual render below to demonstrate the potential of transforming an empty warehouse into an immersive media experiential activation.

MEDIA PRODUCTION

With just two weeks' notice, we traveled to Atlanta and Georgia, to combine our production schedule with a conference World Tree was producing.

This allowed us to facilitate key sit-down interviews with industry experts as well as to tag along with their team as they visited farms and hosted events throughout Atlanta and Georgia.

This strategy enabled a cost-effective production while capturing strong footage to help tell their story.

CREATING 2 SHORT DOCUMENTARIES

World Tree targets two unique demographics, farmers who harvest the Empress trees, and investors who invest in their programs.

Due to distinct messaging in how they communicate with each demographic, (investors/farmers) we created two short documentaries, speaking directly to each.

This strategy allowed us to facilitate a cost-effective production while capturing strong footage to help tell their story.

PLANNING AN IMMERSIVE LIVE-EVENT

In preparation for the launch of their new programs, we collaborated with World Tree to transform an empty warehouse into an immersive media experience.

The objective was to surround guests with multiple screens and multi-sensory technology that would place attendees inside the media and performances envisioned for the evening.

To the left are two conceptual renders created that if green-lit, we would have produced with our live-events team.
